Introducing our 2026 Season!

Copious Love Productions is partnering with SCRiB LAB on a new series called PDA (Play Development Adventure). This program is similar in spirit to our Plays on Tap series, but with a more extended development timeline that includes more rehearsals and script work. Each month in March and April, we will feature a new play by a Pacific Northwest playwright as part of this creative journey.

Our first presentation in the series is:

The Park follows two friends who meet every week at the same park bench under the same tree to share their lives and search for meaning, along with the other creatures who gather there, including dogs and even a few ghosts. It’s a tender, whimsical, and heartfelt story about connection, time, and the lives that intersect in unexpected places.

We are especially excited to announce our first MainStage production in three years. In partnership with Gaisma Theatre Group, Copious Love Productions will present the world premiere musical:

Chicken Tinders
A musical fable inspired by The Nun’s Priest’s Tale by Geoffrey Chaucer
Book and Lyrics by Scott Zenreich
Music and Lyrics by John Gregor

Chicken Tinders is a fable, in the spirit of Chaucer, about the last Chicken in a farm’s pecking order. One morning, the Rooster who normally crows to bring up the Sun dies, and the Farm is thrown into a frenzy, believing it is the last day on Earth. It is a zany, heartfelt allegory about making original art and what we prioritize in perhaps our final moments.

This bold and playful new musical runs May 22-31 at the Issac Studio Theatre at Taproot Theatre.
